How to Install Old Software on this system?

Is there any way to install a program made for an older Mac OS? I'm trying to install InteGrade Pro 9.1, but according to this - http://ww2.clarkston.k12.mi.us/education/sctemp/2bbb6ff10e28d524403f0577406add03 /1189376484/releasenotes91.pdf , "InteGrade Pro works only in Classic mode on OS X versions 10.1 and 10.3. Only Classic version 9.2.2 is supported."

I have OS X 10.4.10

So...is there any way to make this work? When it comes to this stuff I am totally computer illiterate!

Which Mac do you have?

'Classic' (OS 9.2) is not possible on an Intel mac.

It might work in Tiger, provided your computer will run Classic. If you have a nice new Intel based machine (you should add that information to your profile) you are probably out of luck.

Shoot, I have a 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. I am screwed then? I was hoping to be able to do grades at home, but it looks like that's not going to happen. 😟

You can try sending an email via this link to the company to see if a Universal (i.e. both Intel and PowerPC native) version of the program is in development.

Other than that, I'm afraid that you're out of luck. Sorry.
