17" stand for bed or over Mackie mixer

Hi

I am looking for a stand that sits on a desk high enough to hang over a mixer as well as use while sitting in bed,

Can anyone recommend something cool that is flexible, lite, simple and cheap?

If anyone knows of a great adjustable stand that can hold my MBP or any laptop above a mixer (3 inches for example) please do post here.
I want to use the MBP screen to see my mixer while i watch the session on a 40" hi res LCD....thanks

I would say the best product by far for this purpose is the LapDawg.

It has a wide enough base to fit over your legs in bed, It can stand up and be used as a TV tray, so it would have more than enough clearance for a mixer below it. It's lighweight and can hold up to 25 lbs. I've been using it for a number of months now, and it's proved to be invaluable.
