QuickTime Broadcaster - broadcast screen image

Is there a way to select an area of the screen as the source of the broadcast rather than the built in iSight? Thanks.

No.
There are a few OS X screen capture applications but they can only record to a file.

If you can find the old iSight now long sold out or a DV firewire camera you should be able to point it at the screen and narrate as you do stuff.

Thanks Rick. It looks like I found a way to do it on a PC. Just would have preferred to use the Mac.
