How do I know I have antivirus in my mac?

Hi,
I purchased a refurbished laptop a year ago, and i'm not sure this laptop has any antivirus program.
This is my first time use of mac and it's quite confusing.
How do I find any antivirus program in my mac?
If I don't have it, then which antivirus program do you recommend?

Thanks!

PowerBookG4, Mac OS X (10.4.10), antivirus

Hi applejin, there are no known viruses that attack Mac OS X. So virus protection is not necessary.
Use Spotlight to search for anything named AV or AntiVirus on your disk.
My suggestion, if you plan to run an AV program would be ClamXav a mac friendly freeware app that is very stable with Tiger.
