I believe that the iSkin revo case is the best out there, considering both quality and features, but it has some flaws.

First of all, you might want to buy a clear film protector (like the Power Support Crystal Film) to cover the entire front of the iPhone. The Privacy Film included with the iSkin revo only protects the touch interface of the phone, leaving the earpiece and ambient light sensor area unprotected, and it slightly dims and blurs your screen even when viewed directly (a byproduct of the privacy effect). Out of curiosity, I inquired about the price of a replacement privacy film and was quoted the price of $19.99, half the price of the case itself! If iSkin left the film out of the case and made it available as an accessory, it would be far more economical for those of us who aren't too paranoid about our iPhone privacy.

The second flaw is actually a byproduct of the iSkin revo's perfect fit. Yes, the case fits perfectly, right down to the millimeter, but it's a silicon skin case, which means that it has to be stretched in order to put it on the iPhone. You'll notice that other silicon skins are not necessarily "perfect" fits as the access holes are much larger than the areas that they are allowing access to. For example, the access hole for the camera is often twice the size of the lens itself, this is so that the case can be stretched a variety of ways without obstructing the camera. On the iSkin revo, the camera, headphone port, and silence switch access holes are sized exactly, which means that there's no room for a give-or-take fit. The case must be stretched and placed on the iPhone perfectly, otherwise the camera, headphone port, or silence switch may be obstructed. I actually tore my first iSkin revo while attempting to achieve this "perfect" fit.

So, do I recommend the iSkin revo? Of course, it's the best silicon skin case around. Sure, it has its flaws, so you may want to supplement it with a full-front film protector and a lot of patience.

Be sure to stay away from the belkin acrylic case. This case really scratched up my chrome bazel. I heard people complaining about this same problem with other cases and just though that they were over reacting but they definitely were not. My next case is the Vaja iVolution. I ordered it about two weeks ago. It should be arriving soon. I've heard nothing but good things about their cases. Be sure to use a film for the touch screen along with the case you choose.

I just purchased the Vaja Classic Top Retro Dockable Case last week, so I have to wait a couple of weeks before I get it. I really like my InCase Leather case but it doesn't protect the face of the phone, and with it hanging off my hip, I wanted something to protect the face of it. Also, because it is dockable in the case, I don't have to take it off everyday when I charge the phone.

I actually went to the AT&T store and bought the black leather horizontal pouch for my iPhone. It covers the entire phone including the screen and it closes with velcro. Lined with leather as well and it has a belt clip. It hasn't made one scratch on my screen. It was 29.99 and I'm really satisfied with it. Here is the link on the AT&T website.

I just bought a Vaja too.. expensive.. yes.. Not so much as my wife's coach ipod case.. but hey! This one is for me. Had a hard time choosing if I wanted the clip or not but I guess I really don't need it, I keep it in my pocket all of the time. This is just to make it a little more slip resistant and not as instantly identifiable as an iPhone. I hate that everytime my phone rings or I want to check my email I have to start up a conversation with half the room over the pro's and cons of the iPhone.. I've just adopted to tell people go to the apple store where you could play with one of 40 of their display models and leave me alone =)

I look at beautifully designed Apple iPods and now the iPhone and then see a host of UGLY cases and I'm reminded of the miserable plastic slip cover my mom had on our couch.

I like the way the NAKED iPhone feels in my hand. I hate belt clips- reminds me of the dorks on the AV squad back in school. Right now I've got a protective film on the face of my iPhone and I've been carrying it in a pocket with nothing else. I'm looking into slim cases like the Sena or the Waterfield Smart Case or even the iPhone Suede Jacket. Also considering the Marware Sportsuite Sleeve, which has a pocket for earphones or a bluetooth earpiece.
