The best Case that I found for the new iPhone is the Hard leather case from this company called CoverCase. It is hard like metal covered with leather and suede lining to protect the phone. I purchased that last week along with the Revo iSkin case from apple store. But CoverCase has it too. The iskin is about $40 but it's worth it. I got the leather case for $20.
Their website is http://www.covercase.com

I have had the incase case for my iphone for about 2 months now and it is so stretched out around my phone I had to take it off, it was nice the first month. Also I have noticed it scratched my chrome, but I'm not sure if it is scratches or just gunk from getting under it.
I also bought a screen protector that they sold at the apple store it is static cling and came in a 2 pack, you can't even tell its on the phone. I love it, because I work with tools in my pockets all day and it has saved me from some big scratches.

There have been a million threads on cases, but I'm going to chime in here...

I have the iSee, which is nice, clear acrylic, hasn't scratched anything, adds a little extra to the phone. It's a nice tight fit, so, it's a pain to take it out and dock it to charge. Wasn't really a problem cause I could charge it with the cable with the case on. Got the Apple Bluetooth Headset, and it looks funny in the travel charger and not in the dock.

I'm considering the SENA cases now. They look pretty good, and I love the idea of being able to dock the phone with the case.

I finally just got my Vaja case and I think I am in love. It fits great, all buttons are accessible, it is dockable, it's one of my favorite colors (bright green with brown accents), and best of all: every time I talk on the phone I get to smell leather. I got the belt clip and it doesn't stick out too far when worn on belt or waistband.

The only downside I see is that the corners are not covered at all.

I also recently purchased the contourcase iSee. While I like that it protects the corners and such if I drop it, I found that it added considerable weight to the iPhone. I also found it just as slippery as the iPhone itself is. I only used it for two days and was a little bit disappointed.

I have a Case-Mate Signature Leather with Holster - DON'T BUY THIS ONE. Earlier this week the case spun upside down as I was getting out of my care and unloaded the iPhone onto the pavement at about 3-4 feet. Needless to say the phone is scared and marred now. In addition to this event, the belt clip had come apart twice, and the Holster clip only stays on the belt if you are standing up or holding the holster on your belt. I have contacted Case-Mate and they said they have never heard of this before. The offered to replace the case, but even the way it is, I need some protection for the phone when it is in my hand; so I can't send it back and have none. They won't send one first, I guess that makes sense. At any rate I have a Vaja case on order that should be here in a couple of weeks. It was very expensive, but looks great, and will hopefully hold the phone better than this case does. FYI. Good Luck.
