I've heard others had this problem, but figured I'd see what the true verdict was. Somehow I lucked out and got a decent screen for black colors, but my music definitely shuts off in the middle of browsing for no reason that I can figure out. Any of you guys/gals know how to fix this?
i am having the same problem my music just stops while i am browsing .this is a real pain. don't know how to fix it though my itunes won't even find the ipod when i connect to my pc i get all these error messages.i think it's going back
Hmm that ***** I am guessing it isn't supposed to do this? I haven't bought mine yet still waiting on a new development in relation to the screen issue
I'm having the same problem. Whenever I do anything that involves some kind of "effect" including double-clicking to zoom on a web page, or even just rotating the iPod, the music stops. I'm pretty sure that the problem is that the processor can't continue to handle the music while producing the visual effect. Instead of prioritizing the ongoing music stream, the iPod touch just craps out on the music. And then it doesn't even remember where I was in the playlist, constantly going back to the same starting point whenever the browser causes the music to stop.
my music now plays perfectly on even the most intense websites. Unfortunately it seems that safari crashes more, but now without taking the music with it. I guess the update sort of fixes the old problem and makes another. Ta well can't win them all I guess.
I've also got the music-stopping-during-browsing problem. Using version 1.1.1. Bringing up a new website or changing the size can stop the music. Going back to Music afterward sometimes takes you to the current song list, but often is reset to the album list. It's extremely irritating and needs to be fixed - you should be able to internet browse and listen to music concurrently.
I had this once. I turned the touch off and back on again and it has worked fine. On syncing it asked to send a ton of crash and error data back to apple including music player errors.
Switched off by holding the on/off/lock button down. Confirm by sliding the slider .
Worked for me. Whether it happens again is another question.
