.DS_Store... How do I get rid of that?

When I bought my MAC I used to have a Toshiba. When I transfered all my music all of a sudden I started getting this file called ".DS_Store" everywhere. I have tried deleting it but it just wont go away. Do you have any ideas how I can get rid of this?

Yes, reformat the drive. I dont understand hte problem.
1. go to disk utility
2. select the hd you want to erase. most likely the very top one.
3. select teh erase tab in teh main window
4. under volume format select Mac os Ectended (journaled)
5. uncheck install mac os9 drivers
6. Give it a name.
7. click erase button
