I had the same problem last night at home: Try this troubleshooting method that got mine to show and then post back if it works.

While in your music folder, click on help and check for new updates. See if all of a sudden your bells appear, then click it again and see if they disappear.

I believe their is bug that is connected to checking for new updates.

I have the same problem - purchased 3 ringtons, updated iTunes and now they're not in the Ringtones Fodler, although the m4r files exists in my Itunes Music/Ringtones folder. I tried to drag and drop them back into itunes, and the files movied from iTunes Music/Ringtones to iTunes Music/Artist/Album.

This is frustrating that I've paid $6 for these 3 ringtones that only worked for a few days and now they're useless...

Running iTunes 7.4.2 and iPhone software is up to date.

I was able to get around this issue as follows:

-Selected my music library
-Selected a song that I purchased authorized for ringtones
-Selected "Create Ringtone" from the Store menu
-iTunes prompted me to agree to the terms of service in iTMS

Once in iTMS, the "create Ringtone" option is still grey

-Returned to my music library
-Again selected the purchased song
-Selected "Create Ringtone" from the Store menu
-Ringtone created

Cheers!
