option key on macbook pro

Hi,

Feel free to call me a noob but on a macbook pro keyboard which key is the option key?

I read an article here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75459 telling me I can minimise all my windows at once which is a cool feature - unfortunately I don't know which key is the option key.

Second key to the left of the space bar. Marked "alt" and "option" (on US layout, anyway, but it should be the same on yours).

However, coming from the Windows world you'll find that "minimize" is not the same here. You might want to use Apple-H to hide applications, and then Apple-Tab to switch back to them.

:P lets add to this. Its between the 'ctrl' and apple keys on the left. Under the 'z' and southeast of the 'shift'. To tell you the truth, these keys are actually kinda hard to figure out. Because the shift key has this weird symbol its always represented by Apple.

Yeh, I couldn't figure it out. Spend a few hours searching on electric interweb looking for a photo of a keyboard with the keys labelled. Even in the mac pdf instruction book they just refer to the "option" key but don't actually tell you where it is on the keyboard. Thanks for your replies.
