Printing to hot folders
Good morning all.
Our prepress department uses ApogeeX for work that is sent down to them. The Apogee server has several hot folders which have been set up for static jobs. In the past we have been able to set up one of these hot folders as a valid printer using Appletalk. When this was done we could print right to the hot folder then Apogee would do its thing to complete the job.
Recently our IT department replaced the server but did not activate Appletalk. I would prefer not to have to go back to it but need to know how I can set up the hot folder using the ip address. For example, the path is simply, 10.xx.xx.xx/HOTFOLDERS/itek greyscale.
Anyone know how I can use the IP printing options to set this up? Any information is appreciated.
