I'm shooting with a Canon 30D, and had no problem importing RAW images (.CR2 files) into iPhoto 08. However, after installing the update for iPhoto 7.1, I get an error message saying that the .CR2 file type isn't recognized. What the ****?
Aperture has the same problem and when I shoot RAW and JPEG it doesn't see either of these pics.
It's frustrating because one has become to rely on iPhoto or Aperture. MSFT Media Expression (iView) proved to be painfully too.
What I don't understand is the frequency lately of these problems that don't get solved (the famous iDisk upgrade that ruined most iDisks on my macs; the Final Cut Express HD that doesn't work on Macbooks..)
Has anyone been able to import CR2 in iPhoto and actually see the pics longer than 0.14 seconds?

I updated for iPhoto and no success to importing From my DSC -T10 Cyber-shot digital Camera Import files are not recognized on separate window this is the first time a problem persisted, I even use the imagine capture to download on new folder on desktop then iPhoto after 2 minutes of waiting I had to force quit iPhoto. What Happened!! Why did this new update interfered with importing. After the 7.1.1 update issues started. I also went to the Sony Support site for any updates none for Tiger or Leopard on my camera. It looks like I have to revert to iPhoto 7 from Disc had no problems when I bought new disc until 7.1.1 -Mac User Greg
