5th Gen iPod and Denon iPod dock compatability

I have a 5th Gen 80GB video iPod that I have hooked up to my speaker system and Plasma screen via a Denon ASD-1R iPod dock and Denon-687 receiver. I can get a video to play on the monitor through my s-video cable and I can hear the music through the speakers but I cannot get the Song Title and Album cover to display on the screen when a song is playing. Can anyone help?

I have chosen the red/white audio cables from the iPod dock to go into the VCR input of the receiver and the S-Video cable from the iPod dock also goes into the VCR s-video "in". I then have both s-video "VCR out" going into my monitor directly. I also have component video cables going into my monitor with the video conversion set to "on" on my receiver...
