Score bugs and removed features

I have already reported this to Apple but please, I want more Luggers to report the same thing.
It's about the score.

1.Apple removed the possibility to choose font size, underline, etc in the "Event
Parameter Box".

2. A bug when you "speed enter" chords using tab to move to the next entrance.
(If I write a chord with an alternate bassnote (C/G) and I continue to the next
entry where I want to write an F, it comes out as an F/G.
I.e. the alternate bassnote stays in all the following chord entrances.

Unacceptable
This must be fixed!
I want a Logic-Users riot on this one!
I am stuck in Logic 7 because of this.

With respect and affection, Mr. Schwartz:

1. The software police will not come in the middle of the night and take away Logic Pro 7 from you.

2. They may update 8 to restore some of the missing features or not. As to which ones are critical, obviously that is very user specific.

3. There are also other apps out there that add and take away features so in the future one may better suit your, and my and others, needs.

I am neither a Libertatian or free market freak but nontheless this is a clearly a case of where the marketplace, of which you are a part, will decide.

that's true to a point, but i also believe that the investment a user makes in something as complex as a DAW is not just a monetary one. infact, i would suggest that that is the very last consideration. foremost is the investment in time, and i do think there is a duty and responsibility for developers to ensure that workflows are preserved as much as possible for that reason, and also because that is the very essence of logic itself...each user has a completely unique workflow with this incredible program.

but i believe that omissions such as we have seen are simply down to what can reasonably done in the time they have, or occasionally where they feel there is a better or more simpler way to do something (i think that is dangerous because people do rely on certain workflows as we have seen).

but i think where possible they have tried to keep everything that we need, or change it in an obvious way. where something is missing i don't think it was intentional, rather having knock down th outside loo to put up the new kitchen. we still need the loo, but the plumber can't get in there until the kitchen people have been....meanwhile we need to move in.

still it'll look great when its finished eh?
