You do not have sufficient access to your.....

I have just tried installing bonjour for Windows. I see the printer and have the driver already installed on my Windows computer when I get the following error. "You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer". If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

I have the same access problem since I re-installed XP on my laptop but I don't have the Local Security Policy option on Administrative Tools. I'm connected by ethernet to my Powerbook, would I be able to print through that from the Windows machine? Or could I use the non-Bonjour method of printing through a Airport Express as detailed in the iFelix article? Unfortunately I'm away from my machines for a couple of days so won't be able to try either!

I could use some help here, too. I have a desktop PC set up with my apple in my PC network at the office. I am using the administrator account and i have done all the things mentioned in the discussion, but it has NOT worked for me. i checked the local policies and deleted all the other printers on the computer, but STILL i am getting an error saying that i (the "administrator") do not have enough access. any more ideas? should i reboot?

Hi There,

I have completed all the steps listed in this forum and still have the error. I have a linksys router with the PC and Mac Mini attached and the printer via USB to the mini. When I installed bonjour, I get this message "you do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer". Any ideas. I just got my friend to switch as well and he is cussing me out :P
