AOL webmail

Hey all 🙂

I am having trouble reading my aol webmail on my touch when on wifi. Anyone else having this trouble?? I can log in but then the screen gets all garbled and i can't do anything. I have checked my yahoo email acct and that is fine, as well as my myspace acct. 🙂

macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

When I first got the ipod touch it worked fine with AOL webmail but now it doesn't - so something happened - either with the aol update or the apple up date and neither company gives a **** - so, so much for customer support of either company. I'm tired of proprietary ********. From now on it's open source only

Hi All,
Got my touch for Christmas and spent all day trying to get AOL to work. I tried everything I could think of for 3 hours. I finally tried going to the settings panel and doing a reset. It all works now from m.webmail.aol.com.

I can't even get to the web at all because I can't figure out the dlink password. Do any of you all think that you could help me out please?

Thanks! That site worked for me this time. What a relief. I did a reset/restore a couple days ago, but I guess that wasn't one of the sites I retried after doing the r/r.

I just hope it keeps working. 😉

There you will also find a link to the mobile version of the AOL home page for those who are having problems with loading the main AOL home page. It kept freezing on me, but the mobile version works great.

Thanks a million, your resetting recommendation worked for me also, mine was a gift from me to meself, I have passed this solution on to my wife, son and daughter, all of whom received iPod touches as Christmas gifts from me. This should be made a "Sticky."

I was using AOL mail at m.webmail.aol.com for the past two weeks and it worked great, now I can't log in from the iPod Touch on WiFi

WAP Auhtentication Error
Request missing webauth cookie

Nothing seems to fix this. Tried clearing Safari's cache and history, deleting cookies, changing cookie settings, restarting the iPod.

AOL webmail works fine from my laptop.

Any ideas?

I'm experiencing the same problem that you're having. Performing all of the known corrective steps has not resolved this apparently "new" glitch. Hopefully this would get fixed soon.

Guys I began experiencing this issue about 24 hrs. ago.
I am now able to get to my inbox. I did it via http://my.aol.com and logging in at that page using its popup Login box, not the Standard Login Screen option. I then clicked the Inbox link on my mail module and Voila! AOL's Mobile Mail was succesfully loaded.

that doesn't work for me. It lets me log in at the pop-up but when I click on the inbox it tells me to log in yet again and then gives me the same old cookie error message.
