Cannot Burn CDs from Playlist or Roxio

In the past, I have been able to burn my ITunes purchases to CD with no issue. Now when I attempt to burn from ITunes, it asks to insert a blank disc even when I have one in my burner. I am using Memorex CD-Rs.

When I try to drag and drop to Roxio, I get an error that the ITunes files are not supported and cannnot be burnt to a CD. Please help as all I want to do is burn some ITunes music to CD. Thanks

I am also having the same exact issue. Keeps saying to insert a blank disc although there is already one in there. PLEASE HELP

iTunes purchases which are not iTunes Plus can only be burned using iTunes.

If you cannot burn using iTunes. make sure yoru CD/DVD drivers are up to date.

I have an inspiron 1501 and it appears this might be part of the issue. I can burn using any other software other than i-tunes. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I know which are ITunes and which are ITunes Plus? My computer is less than one year old, so I would think that my drivers are up to date. How would I check to determine otherwise?

Lastly, why can I not use Roxio to burn?

Is there any way to upgrade my regular iTunes purchases to iTunes plus? And why in God's name don't they just make them all iTunes plus, as it doesn't cost any more?!?
