Installed EZ Drummer - it never gets me to the serial part & doesn't showup

Try running the AU Manager and see if it appears on the list. If so, check it and run the validation test on just the one plugin.

If not, then you might need to re-install and make sure you check the AU installation. There should be a file with ".component" at the end of the file name...probably something like ezdrummer.component or similar.

Just to say I've got EZ drummer working fine in logic 8.

When you say it doesn't show up, how are you looking for it?
(Stick with it, I really like EZ!)

I had the same issue when i just bought the new aluminum imac and just installed Logic 8 studio, I had to make sure I was updated fro the current version of EZ and it popped up right away but untill I had all the 1.X updates it would not show up at all.

If EZD is not in your AU list (Logic Preferences -> Audio Units Manager), then check to see if they're in the following locations.

Don't go moving anything - EZD is fussy about where stuff is after installation - if the main items are not where they should be, reinstall EZD.

Make sure you have version 1.1.1

Look to see if your expansion packs are in
/Library/Application Support/EZDrummer

Even with no add-ons, the Cocktail kit should be there.

The component should be in

~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZDrummer.component
