Windows 2000 Professional

What do I do?

I've got a new iPod Classic (80gb) and I cannot run itunes 7.4 because it refuses to install on win2kpro and itunes for win2k (7.3) does not support my ipod

Did I get a $250 brick from apple? Or is there a way for me to enjoy my product.

Sorry if you failed to read the side of the iPod box when you purchased it.
Perhaps you still have time to return it an get a full refund.

To answer your question, you will need to re-engineer Win2K to work with the iPod.

Zack,

To use the new Ipods, you must have Itunes version 7.4 at the very least, and unfortunately Itunes 7.4 won't work on Windows 2000. Apple is only making software for Windows XP and Windows Vista as of right now. I'm sorry, try seeing it you can still get a refund from where you bought the Ipod.
