What's a #-1407 Error?

Greetings!

Without touching anything to my OS, I suddenly am unable to access to "Save for Web..." in Photoshop 7 and unable to open ImageReady (menubar cannot be built) all of this because of "an operating system error # -1407".
I performed a clean re-install of both applications with no results change.

Does anybody knows what a #-1407 Error is?

Many thanks for any clue...

Further to my last post, I seem to have fixed the problem...on my computer at least. Although it doesn't seem logical when getting a system error, I dumped the 'Adobe ImageReady CS Prefs' (user>library>Preferences>Adobe>Adobe ImageReady CS Settings). ImageReady started up fine after this. I was, however, expecting a new prefs file to be created (sure used to happen in OS 9 days) but it didn't. Not sure what this means, but I'm able to use ImageReady now.

Wish I'd done this before reinstalling the system.

All the same has happened to me. It intrigues me that this seems to be a problem that has just sprung up (in what, the last couple of weeks; I just updated a website that long ago with Image Ready with no problem). Could it be a timely thing, like an expiration date? I've had it only occur on my MacBook Pro, not my PPC G4 or PPC G5.

The advice I'd always been given is if an app is acting strange, delete the preferences file (or at least move elsewhere until certain). Removing said file allowed Image Ready to be used again; unlike above, a new preferences file was created in the place of the other.
