Anyone playing Madden NFL 08?

I’d like to know myself, BJ. I’m currently holding a copy of Tiger Woods 08 and I can’t seem to decide whether to open it or return it. Like you said, it appears many of the problems are attributed to the new ATI Radeon HD 2600 video card available in the new iMac. EA seems to have acknowledged the issue but there have been no driver updates from Apple as of yet. I’m using a first generation 2Ghz MBP with 1GB ram.

I have to admit this is absolutely crazy. We have what, 2 or 3 hardware configurations and they can’t get this right? Good grief…Ahhhh, what to do? Anyone?

Nope, I have it for the 360. Pretty fun game, overall much harder than passed years.

Well here's my story. I first bought Madden 08 for PC and played it on my MBP using Bootcamp. It seemed to work flawlessly. Then when Madden 08 was released on MAC I immediately bought it for so that I wouldn't have to be switching back and forth all the time. When I bought it I was running OS X 10.4.9 (Tiger) and it worked pretty good. It tended to lag slightly on when the music tracks switched but on the plus the graphics were better in that it didn't stretch the image to fit windscreen like the PC version. Then just today I upgraded to OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and the menu's became distorted so that I was not able to read them. I went to ea support and they said it was a graphics card issue and should be fixed within the month.

The other issue is that I could never play my MAC version online. EA support also states that they are working to get a patch for that also.
