Macbook Pro keyboard does not work

After a straigh-forward upgrade, the keyboard does not work. The trackpad works.

Had the same problem with SideTrack. I used a firewire to plug into my roommate's Mac and rebooted my MacBook while holding down "T". That basically turned my MacBook into an external drive on his desktop. Then I went in & deleted all the SideTrack files.

If you don't have a friend with a Mac... drop by Kinkos and do it. Just my two cents.

I had an intermittent keyboard problem with my 17" Macbook Pro after the upgrade to Leopard. It would work, then stop for about a minute, then work again. Lather rinse repeat 🙂

I was confused at first thinking I didn't have any third party stuff like Sidekick. It turns out that about a year ago I installed Microsoft's intellitype software for my wireless keyboard and mouse that I never use.

Once that was uninstalled and I rebooted all seems ok. Hope this helps someone else.
