After the Leopard install the airport card on my Dual 1.8 G5 is not being recognized (the airport menu reads "no aiport card installed". Of course there is a card and when booting a from Tiger there is no problem. It's a stock apple airport card. Any suggestions?
I have been having similar issue. I just upgraded my Mac book pro from tiger to leopard. Wifi is detected but can not access internet. I removed only one file that was found other was not found, restarted computer. Wifi signal is there detected but no access to internet. Any ideas. Mac book pro was working fine before with tiger.
Not working for me either, also upgrading from 10.3
What with the fact I can't wake my machine from sleep either (listed workaround again haven't worked), this is turning into a disastrous OS change for me - maybe that's why I stayed with 10.3.9 for so long - and was able to use Classic then too. I really wish I hadn't bothered at the moment.
Can you advise where I can download this app?
I have done a search and can only find it on a site that wants to charge me for it. Is this how you got it or should it be free?
I had installed Leopard and some things weren't working well, but the Airport Card was working. I did an archive and install and THEN the Aiport Card did not work. The AppleAirport2.kext was not in my /System/Library/Extensions folder.
I am having the same issue as everyone else. I have tried deleting those files , restarting, uninstalling/reinstalling the card itself, and it still is not showing up. The card works fine on an older G4 running Tiger. But my dual mirrored doors G4 running Leopard just does not see it. Anyone else have any more suggestions?
