Exporting to a Mini DV Tape?

I need to export (output?) my FCP project to a mini dv tape for my sound mixer.
What are the steps to accomplish this?
The project is in Final Cut Studio 1. I own a camcorder which I can hook up to my MAC through a firewire port.

Thanks!

What should be the settings?
I've been able to get the audio to be recorded now but no video. In "Audio/Video Settings" I chose (in the "A/V Devices" tab) and checked the "Different Output for Edit to Tape/Print to Video. Then I chose Video: Apple FiireWire NTSC (720x480) and Audio: FireWire DV

Apparently the Audio setting iis correct as it oes record the audio now, but the video settings don't work, I tired all except for PAL.

Suggestions? If someone knows what could be wrong please let me know, I need this tape out tonight...

That's what I've been doing but, although in the camcorder's viewfinder the "recording" red button starts and is visible, the film doesn't get recorded.
I tried putting the camcorder on VCR (which I believe is the mode it should be in), REC and even MEMORY but it doesn't work, it doesn't record anything onto the mini dv tape.

Should I check something else?

Thanks

- Have you completely rendered the sequence?

I rendered the clips that didn't play in realtime, I also made dvds with DVDSP and it works fine, do I have to render the whole thing again?

- What are your sequence settings?

Audio: 2 outputs
Frame size:960X720
Rate 23.98
Compressor: DVCPRO HD 720p60
Au Rate: 48.0KHz
Au format: 32-bit Floating Point
Pixel Aspect: HD(960x720)

What format is your media...DV, HDV?
We shot it with the Panasonic HVX200, I think it should be the above DVCPRO HD right?

Are you working with NTSC, or with PAL?
NTSC

What exact model of camera?

The camera we shot the footage with is the above-mentioned Panasonic

The camcorder I'm using as a deck for the mini dv tape is a Sony DCR-VX2000 NTSC

Any idea?

Thanks!!!!

Panny is 'video-head' slang for Panasonic.

I really don't know P2/DVCProHD formats, but this link offers tons of great info.

The gentleman who's site that is, can be found at the top of the 'Top Users in Forum', just to the right on this page.

I'm surprised he's not chimed in yet, unless he's just letting me flounder in my ignorance regarding your issue.
