Error '-14120'

Ok I am getting a little fed up of Leopard server now. Not only does the iCal server not work for me but I am now getting the following errors when trying to create users or change which groups they are part of...

"Error '-14120' occurred while processing a command of type 'setMembership' in plug-in 'servermgr_accounts'"

and

"The server reported the error '-14120' while trying to create the user."

I think somehow I have lost permission to create users etc? Strange seeing as I am the main administrator.

Anyone got any bright ideas?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.6), 2GB Ram, 120BG HD and Black Case :)

Greetings All! I was getting this error trying to change a password on an advanced leopard server using workgroup manager. I read this thread and was about to follow the directions posted by
Luke Potter when I saw his clue about diradmin. Sure enough quitting workgroup manager, launching it and logging in as diradmin instead of the admin user first created during the new server configurarion solved it. You can login to the LDAP OD server (or is it OD LDAP server?) with workgroup manager using any username that has "user can administer this server" enabled, but you can only make changes by logging in as dirdamin or Directory Administrator (or any other shortname you have created for Directory Administrator.) We are told this during initial setup, but if we have been administering os x server since 1999 (before it was os x server...) we are used to logging in as the first admin user created during initial setup to administer most aspects of it (and certainly most of these aspects under discussion.) Additionally, we are used to typing in the same username and password. And when I say we I mean me and others like me. ; ) !!!

Or so it is on this xeon xserve running leopard server 10.5.4...
