You mean the preference does not exist? Mine was in the Username>Library>Preferences folder.

As I say, curioser and curioser. . . . Have you tried Grab?

The missing preference may give some clue as to why the pics are missing: perhaps they were never taken in the first place. Time for some deeper checks.

I do not see that file in the other user preference folders as well and they do not have this problem., i also copied and pasted "com.apple.ImageCaptureApp.plist" into spotlight and nothing comes up, very strange.

Hey sitheris0169

Time for Tiger again., maybe i come back to Leopard when it is all solved, a year this time i am told by developers!, strange how Leopard seems like going from OS9 to X when it simply a 64bit intel OS.

I am disappointed in Apple for misleading mac users in order to trick the PC users into Apple land attracting them with PC type problems to solve.,

I am not into problems and i certainly did not switch to a mac to post here at these forums and show off to my nerd friends etc, i need a computer that works.

The whole so called "Painless upgrade" hype and the count down on Apple's site was a disgusting experience to me., i hope this is the last time Apple attempts to change there OS and computers so drastically with no secure testing.

Back to Tiger, the one oS that indeed had the least problems.

Nothing special about Leopard for me, just a cool desktop, the rest i can also install on Tiger, just about everything.

In Fact, many new features in Leopard make it more complicated, iCal is not recognize by earlier versions even syncing .Mac accounts!., and why do 2 steps to edit notes in events now when it used to be all in one window??

Im back on Tiger and happy!! 🙂

where do all my screenshots go?
