Display black spots

Hi guys. Ive got a 15.4 mbp, which i bought about 11 months ago.
within the last few months black spots have started apearing on the display.
at the moment there are 4, all of them are about 2mm in dia.
they are on the back side of the display.
Anyways to fix this?
Will apple beable to help with it?
Anyone else have the same issue?

Y'know with the way apple takes care of it's hardware failures it seems you guys/gals are SOL.

I too have this problem on 2 of my MacBook Pro 15" 2GHz Intel Core Duo models from 2006.

They look like two giant black thumb prints right in the middle of the screen about 2 inchs apart and they do grow in size over time. Of course I only though it was faint dirt at first, then once out side of my 1yr hardware warranty I realized this is a product defect. It's a defect that isn't obvious at first but slowly shows over a few months in most cases. The charge enough for all their products that we shouldn't have to bit the bullet on their own design flaws. If their laptops are designed to get too hot to be closed, then they screwed up or didn't do enough testing or both.
