Hi, I've recently installed leopard on my macbook pro that I purchased a year ago. I've just tried to print a weekly calendar and it is printing in portrait mode so half of the page is getting cut off on the side. I don't know how to go about fixing this problem.
I am having the same issue printing over a network to a HP LaserJet p3005 and the same with other HP printers. I am trying to print month view and they all come out as portrait with the page partially cut off instead of printing in landscape as it is seen in the print box preview. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated (I've even tried the checkbox to reverse page orientation with the same results).
I wonder if after selecting all your view/print options as you would like them, and if you still cannot print in landscape directly, instead of printing, you select "view pdf in preview" from the pdf menu in the lower left corner, and from preview you print in landscape.
A similar issue affects our Phaser 7300. We attempt to print landscape from iCal and it chops off the edge - the calendar is moved about an inch too far to fit onto the paper. I've tried making a PDF as well and it does the same thing printing via Preview. Even if I select portrait. However it prints fine to our Samsung B/W. Both printers are networked. And in every instance it appears fine in the print preview. I've also tried printing the PDF from Acrobat and it does the same thing. Whatever the problem is, it is originating in iCal.
Hi. ical prints in portrait? I had the same problem on my wireless network, printing to a shared computer using OS X 10.5. the weekly calendar printed in portrait, cutting off the page. I discovered that when you go to "File" "Print" a window pops up. Next to the Printer there are two sets of arrows. The second arrow pulls up another window which gave me the option of printing in landscape or portrait. I'm not sure if this is in prior versions or is an update that can be downloaded.
