Error When Burning CD

I just upgraded to Leopard last weekend. Now, in iTunes now, I can't burn to a cd. I get the following message "Burn disk failed because of a medium write error." What does that mean and how do I fix it?

Same issue as the others are facing. "medium write error"
Didn't have this issue with DVD-R burning. Updated to OS X 10.5.1 just this week. Have not tried to burn CD since Upgrade to 10.5 I have just burned DVD's prior to this...since 10.4.
Error also occurs in Toast verion 7.1.3

I have the same problem. Started after upgrading to Leopard on my Macbook Pro. I've tried all the suggestions in the thread, but nothings works.

The same here on both iMac and Powerbook G4, and it is with CD´s out of the same batch that used to work fine - I have made it my habbit of burning a CD of all purchased iTunes music for a safety backup, so I know for sure that it used to work fine and that I have not changed anything.
The only thing is updates - so either it is in iTunes or in the OS - however since it is a problem on both Leopard and Tiger - it seems most likely that it is a problem within iTunes.
