OS 8 on a Performa 6214CD w/8MB Memory

I recently tried to install OS 8 on my Performa 6214CD. It had OS 7.5.1 on it already. I choose to do a clean install instead of an update. Wrong Move! I discovered that I only had 8MB Physical memory. I am new to Mac's and didn't understand beforehand.

Is there a program, that will fit on a floppy, to make and adjust virtual memory on this computer so that I can finish installing the OS 8?

New to this board.

Couldn't help but chime in with Jan... not a good idea to try using VM to make up the shortfall of real RAM, particularly on this series of machine. I tried something similar to what you are attempting with a 6214CD of my own some years ago. The performance was dismal, to be kind about it.
