I have an 8GB jailbroken iPod Touch, with several apps I downloaded. I turned off my iPod to try to get something to work, however, when I went to turn it back on, the iPod just froze on the Apple logo. When I plugged it into my Mac, it showed up just fine (while it was still frozen on the Apple logo), but after about 5 minutes, the iPod restarted itself and just froze again at the Apple logo. I can't even restore it because it keeps restarting! I have no idea on what to do next to fix my iPod.
PowerPC Mac Mini, Mirror Drive G4 Tower,
Mac OS X (10.4.10),
Canon XH-A1 camera
Have you tried Resetting it (hold down the sleep and select button for 10 seconds, keep holding them down even when the power off button appears) while it is connected to the computer?
While connected to the computer hold the home and sleep button ignore the slide to power off. When you see the apple logo release the sleep button NOT THE HOME BUTTON, keep holding until the computer recongizes it as an apple restore device
