IMAP command “UID COPY” (to Deleted Messages) failed for the mailbox.
I just installed Leopard and get the following message when deleting mail *"The IMAP command “UID COPY” (to Deleted Messages) failed for the mailbox “INBOX” with server error: UID COPY failed Deleted Messages: no such mailbox.*" However, my preferences have been also set to delete from all mailboxes when I "delete" mail. Help!
Un-checking "store deleted messages on the server" under the Trash area of Mailbox Behaviors worked for me. Messages still go into the trash, but they're not saved on AOL's server.
Although the "Don't move deleted mail to the trash" answer works (and thanks muchly for that...), it is a horrible workaround because it completely bypasses the safety net of the trash bin - which worked just fine in Tiger before.
Any news on whether this charlie foxtrot of an "upgrade" will be patched in the upcoming 10.5.2?
