I just got a new Mac Pro with two Xeon quad-core processors and I want to install XP so that I can run some windows only software for work. Everything works up to the point where XP starts installing, and almost immediately i get the blue screen with a "Stop 0x0000000A irql
not_less_orequal" error. From what I understand with this error, there is some kind of incompatibility with my hardware and with windows. Does any body have any suggestions on how I can work around this or fix it?
I also upgraded the memory with two crucial 1GB sticks.
Mac Pro,
Mac OS X (10.5),
2x3GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Proccessors, 3GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
