0xE800001 Error

After the 1.1.2 firmware upgrade I keep getting a 0xE800001 Error in iTunes and iTunes doesn't see the phone. Sometimes iTunes works, sometimes it syncs super super slowly. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?

Dual Core 2.3, Mac OS X (10.4.3), I also use 1.8G5 and several powerbooks.

Ah thank you. When I upgraded to Leopard I also moved my computer used an old usb hub. Didn't notice until now it wasn't USB 2.0....

Plugged into the computer and everything is cool.

Thanks so much... now I wonder if I damaged the iphone by trying to upload in this configuration (some files did upload)

Bad apple for such a microsofty type error message.

Raul Gutierrez,

Essentially that error appear to indicate a point in the USB transfer that something went wrong. It can often be due to a timeout, such as have USB 1.1 involved.

Essentially if you have a chain of things on the USB bus such as Port -> Hub -> Device. If any of the 3 items either the port or the hub are USB 1.1, then the device will be connected at USB 1.1 speeds.

Thank you,

Nathan C.
