iphone is flawless

After reading dozens of posts, I just had to say that my phone syncs all, charges well, sends texts, gets email. browses the web, makes calls, the map works great, speakers and ear buds work fine, color is b right, keyboard works fine, ipods plays well, battery life is good. This really is the finest phone ever invented, and this from a guy who threw away a Blackberry curve 28 days after he bought it so I could use this. Oh, and my coverage is great.

I bought an iphone today and its been as smooth as silk. Activation took 1 minute, my existing number was transferred a few minutes later despite the screen saying it may take several hours. I wasnt asked for my address or bank details when going through the activation process and no mention of a credit check. Is this because im an existing o2 customer?

A credit check and all this other information isn't required since you are an existing O2 subscriber and O2 already has all this information. Entering your existing O2 number was the only thing required.

I was an existing AT&T subscriber when activating my iPhone and transferring my existing AT&T number to my iPhone and the only required info was my phone number.

Being an existing subscriber and in good payment terms makes the process very quick and easy.

Indeed, there will always be those looking to find fault with something and especially with iPhone, as it's such a breakthrough device that has been amazingly successful. I'm sure there are many who would have liked to see it fail. I have seen a lot of people on mobile review websites slating the product just because it's not like a Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson or whatever. I think it's wrong to look at it in the same light as any other mobile phone when it's actually far more like a minature laptop than anything else!

MacMicro, anyone?

I'm sure this isn't the right place for this question, but I'm relatively new to this discussion and wasn't sure where to start. I own and iphone and was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the time before the screen goes into power saving mode. I either haven't found it or it isn't an option.
Thanks for your help. I used to be a sprint customer and had a treo, but so far love my iphone.
