A question about packing slips via shipping

OK. This is an odd question, but I don't have anyone or know of anywhere else to ask, so I just thought I'd ask here.

I'm thinking about purchasing an iphone for my my. I'm going to purchase it at the Apple store and get it shipped to her as a Christmas present.

I was wondering, will there be a packing slip with the price on? You know what mums are like, so I don't particularly want her to know how much it cost. lol

To ensure shipping times, I would order it and use Apples Gift wrapping and engraving service

The engraving is free and the gift wrapping is 5 dollars usd
have it shipped to yourself, then mail it to whom you're giving the gift to, this way also the outside box doesnt say Apple on it.

If you order on-line, the Apple store will send you a confirmation email, then an invoice email, then a shipping notice with a tracking link. Excellent communications.

I have never tried emailing Apple, I have had flawless efforts with their customer service. I had to return my iPhone due to a issue read the below link, it is true and I have so much respect for Apple.

But to your question, once you order, you get a link and you can log on and view and orders or returns and their status

Nice. The best customer service that I've had has been at the hands of Dell. A couple of keys fell off my keyboard, emailed the customer support, then 24 hours later I received a brand new keyboard. Same with my AC Adapter, but with the adapter I accidentally threw it out, but they were really nice about it, because usually they need the serial number. They shipped a replacement adapter out to me within 24 hours.

It's those types of things that will make people happy and prompt said people to do more business with that particular company. The main reason why some companies lose customers is because of bad PR.

Dell are excellent when it comes to customer service, from my own personal experience.

Cool. Do you get confirmation when it gets delivered? Or signed?
