Synthogy Ivory not showing up

Hi,

According to the Ivory manual, the Ivory plug-in should show up under Audio Units, but it doesn't.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry!

I installed Ivory 1.5, then the 1.63 updaters. There is a Library Tool, which I have run and it shows 'passed' for all installed library files.

In Logic, I insert a new Audio track, go to Mixer view, click an empty Insert button, select Audio Units at the bottom, and only get the standard Apple stuff - no Synthogy, as it says in the Synthogy Manual.

Obviously doing something wrong!

I don't know about the Leopard compatibility, but this won't work in Tiger either. As Rohan points out, Ivory (or any instrument) would require a "software instrument" track, not an audio track. The plugin would have to be instantiated under "I/O," not an empty insert. If you look at the choices available as inserts, AU or otherwise, you'll see all your processing options - eq, reverb, amp modeling, etc., but no instruments.
