what is going on here? seriously? i've tried to find a trend but i can't. I've come to the conclusion, that randomly Photobooth will not record the sound during a video record. sometimes it records and plays back and other times all you see is your lips moving? what the he** is going on here? i mean i've been having this problem since i got Leopard. why hasn't Apple sent out an update for it? this is so dumb. anyone know how to fix it? or highjack it (trick it to work)-like every other part of the Mac OS.
Once the clip is over 2 minutes there is no audio. I record 2 clips back to back, one is 1:58 and the other 2:02 and only the first has audio. My guess is the buffer allocated for the audio only holds to minutes and when i reaches the end the audio throws an exception.
I feel like this used to work for longer clips earlier this year.
Hmm i've had the same issue.. but odly have you guys tried playing the clips using the VLC video player rather than in quicktime. When i do this i can hear the sound.. I'm just looking at a way of converting the clip so it works in quicktime too...
I have the exact same problem.
That's why I found your post ... I thought I forgot to activate something or stop micro in some way before taking the video, but it appears to be random indeed ...
I just wanted to echo that I'm having the same problem. Sometimes photo booth records sound and other times it does not. Really annoying... Especially when the clips are long.
