i cannot download new iTunes

hi, basically a while ago i tried to dowlnload the new edition of iTunes, but when it got to the installing part, it said that the previous version could not be deleted. so i stupidly deleted iTunes and tried again. and now i can't get iTunes again! please help as music is my life!

Seriously, I haven't upgraded itunes since the last time I did a couple years ago and ended up losing ALL my music on my ipod when I tried to connect it. Apparently, the new version at that time had some "bugs" - just like every new version of itunes.

Every time a new version comes out, I see tons of windows users posting horror stories - so as far as upgrading, no thanks!
