Color does not match printing in preview

Printing a photo directly from iPhoto ('08) does not match the color on screen. Using an Epson 2200.
The colors are dark and saturated. Maybe the problem is setting color management in the advanced dialog box- I have it set to: "No Color Adjustment" as per Epson.
Is there a setting that is recommended? I can't find any help in help.
I'm well aware of color management problems printing via Photoshop with the Epson printer.

You're okay there, then. Assuming you didn't change anything after looking, there's nothing assigned to your printer. Most people don't even know you can assign an output profile to a printer this way. But I first wanted to make sure you hadn't assigned a profile in the ColorSync Utility.

It's purpose is to be able to set a printer profile when neither the application being used, or the print driver for a given printer has any ColorSync controls. Otherwise you'd have no way at all to use the correct printer profile for the type of paper you're using. Such combinations that have no ColorSync controls are pretty rare nowadays, so that's most of the reason people don't know about that function.

So that brings us back to the normal stuff. What kind of calibration did you do? What did you do in ColorSync that may have messed things up? Did you remove a bunch of profiles from the Profiles folders on your Mac?
