Chicken VNC on OSX to Tight VNC on Linux

Hi,

I downloaded chicken VNC and need to connect to a Linux server (which has TightVNC) running on it. I would greatly appreciate any help/advice on how to go about this. I can telnet the server from the terminal and get into it but I would like to use the VNC software to access the server.

Thanks,

Vishnu

There's honestly not that much to it. As long as you have the server running properly and you know the public IP address, and have the necessary ports open in the host computer's firewall, you should be able to connect without troubles. If you don't keep the server running all the time, then you may need to start it remotely via, for example, ssh.
