Bluetooth Networking is hanging MacBook

I apologize if this has already been answered, but I didn't see it in the posts.

I have a MacBook running a 10.5.1 upgrade from 10.4. The phone I use for Bluetooth tethering is a Sanyo SCP-8400 running Sprint's service.

In 10.4 everything worked fine, no problems, could stay connected all day with no issue.

After the upgrade, everything still connects fine, but at random the machine will hang after I click connect on the Bluetooth networking option. You will see the flashing connecting at the top, then the flashing connecting will hang and I get the wonderful colored pinwheel of death. I have to power off to get the machine back.

Any suggestions?

I am using standard Bluetooth networking, nothing fancy.

Thanks
Phil.
