Trying to use USB Photo Keychain

Bought a neat keychain that displaces photos on a 1.5" screen and connects with a USB cable (same as my camera). Problem is it doesn't show up in Finder when I plug it in. Any solutions? The unit was made for PC, so not likely any mac support. I think this is a long shot....

Dan,

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.

Launch Image Capture and see if it recognizes the device. If not, see if System Profiler lists it as a USB device. If the System doesn't recognize it, there's not much you can do (but borrow a PC).

Dan,

My only idea would involve checking the format of the device, and possibly reformatting to something your Mac likes better. However, I don't know if this would have consequences on the device's ability to display the files.

This is a bit over my head, so perhaps others will have more to contribute.

I found this link on another board:

it contains a download that worked with the Brookstone photo keychain my aunt bought I'm not sure if it works only with their software or not.

Thanks. System profiler recognizes it (PhotoFrame V2.01), but Image Capture (and iPhoto) do not. Any other suggestions.
