VNC and Typing Capials

Hi

Since the latest ARD update (3.2) I can no longer change the case of what is typed on my PC running the latest version of Tight VNC. If caps lock is on on the PC's keyboard then its capital letters that are typed by me remote ARD mac on the PC and lower case if the Caps Lock on the PC is off. Any ideas??

Hi Ben

I'm having the exact same problem, proving most annoying. I don't have many PC to look after but those i do are Headless Windows servers (yeah head hung in shame) 😟

I'm using ultraVNC as a server on the Windows side, did you ever get a fix or a workaround?

Hi,

I'm having the same problem also, I got round it by installing "Chicken of the vnc" on the Mac side (its on versiontracker).

I'm using realVNC 4.1.1 for Windows clients, this combination will allow you to log in remotely if you have capitals in your login/password. It's not idea but it works for now.
