Battery died, iPhone won't turn back on

hey,
yesterday my iPhone was connected to the dock i was listening to some music.
the USB cable was not connected and the battery driand out...
the phone turned off, when i connected it ti the power chord it won't charge it
i tried connecting it the my PC my Mac and the AC Adapter...
the phone just won't charge and won't go on!
i also tried reseting the phone

what can i do??
i cannot get to a apple store because I'm currently located in Israel and the phone was bought in USA

please HELP!!

well... it isn't the battery
iv'e just checked the phone with a battery tester and it says the battery is charged
any other bets?

My iPhone died today, or so I thought. It reported it's battery at zero and refused to charge when attached to USB. It would shut off if not connected to the computer, presumably because of low battery. It would work when attached to the computer, but it would not recharge. Following the advise from this forum thread I reset the iphone several times. Once the regular way and a few times using the soft reset method (homepower10sec). It worked! The phone now reports full charge, the battery was never low to begin with.

Try disconnecting the docking cable from the dock. Leave the USB end in the computer. Hold the Home key down and at the same time insert the docking cable directly into the IPhone. See if it goes into restore mode.

I had a problem where my iphone battery didn't show that it was charging. puberttlove's solution totally worked for me. Thanks dude, you saved me a load of frustration and a trip to the apple store.

check the plug in the back of the base charger and make sure it is all the way in.

i have the same problem today, my battery drone out yesterday and i plugged it in the outlet but it would show a screen with the battery red but it would never boot up..i left all night but it is still stuck on that screen, when i pull the cable it shuts down i've tried even charging it with the computer but it still wont charge. ive rebooted it several times too but no sign on booting up...
Taking it to an apple store is a problem to me because i live in Greece, any other ideas on how it can boot up?

The phone is on my shelf at home since then, unusable.
i lost my trust in apple and there products.
when i called apple they said they won't help me and it's not there problem.

Paid 400$ for nothing!
