I'm new to Mac and not sure about unzipping files. For example I have downloaded some icons and when I try to open them I see a bunch garble. I know Windows (sorry to cuss) has an unzip utility or you can use something like WinZip. What do you do on a Mac (with Leopard) to unzip files? And is a separate program even necessary? Thanks!

Leopard has a compress and uncompress "ZIP" capability built into the O/S. To uncompress a file, right click on the file and select uncompress from the menu.
