reversing a blur fade in text effect

I suppose there is a very simple answer to this. I'm just using the blur fade in text effect and would like to reverse the wipe in direction. You can select Left to Right, or Right to Left. Problem is that when you select Right to Left (the direction I want) It reverses the whole concept of the effect. The text come in 100% opacity and the effect blur fades the text out to 0% opacity from Right to Left. In other words, it acts like a blur fade out from right to left.

I'm probably missing something right?

Okay. No one seemed to have an answer. None-the-less I have conquered the demon all by myself.
One must use the custom "option" from the Traversal menu (of the Blur Fade In Parameter Tab), and set keyframes at both ends of the effect. You must then manually adjust the positions of the keyframes using the Keyframe Editor tab. By adjusting the keyframes you'll see that you can position the filter mask where you want it and animate it over time. Don't know why, but setting them from the Behavior/Parameter/Location window doesn't work.

Hope someone else can save time reading this.
