Toshiba Regza 47" LCD via VGA adapter

I'm plug the Mac into the TV via the PC VGA connection. I can see the video picture while the computer turns on but after it's on I get unsupported video signal on the screen. Any suggestins?

Since you see the video initially, another option would be to boot in Safe Mode (by holding down the Shift key during startup as soon as you hear the chime) and then once booted, pick a better video setting from Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays.

In some cases, you might have to use a third-party utility like SwitchResX to generate a custom resolution and timing.
