ATM and Os9.2.2

Adobe says ATM light 4.6.2 is for OS9.1 and below OR OS Classic. What if you are running OS9.2.2 Which atm do you use.. I re loaded OS9 on a partitioned part of my drive and all of my text is jaggy and now Suitcase 10 is even locking up.

Hi, SparkyJ -

ATM Light 4.6.2 is valid for OS 9.1 and higher, including OS 9.2.2. The current (and last) version of ATM Light is v. 4.6.2.a, which you can download here -
Adobe Type Manager Light

There can be a soft conflict between ATM Light and Suitcase; usually it expresses as an inability to print, but it can cause other problems -

Try increasing the Preferred memory allocation for both Suitcase and ATM Light -

Be sure you have both parts of each of your Postscript fonts - the suitcase of bitmapped fonts, and the printer font (which is loose, not in a suitcase).

I dont know what is going on here. i'm on my 4th reformat and reinstall of OSX and OS9. In OSX using Font Book I "resolved Font Dupes" It is loading like 3 versions of Helvetica. It doesn't tell you "where" it is finding these fonts. I think this might have started with "resolving the font duplicates". I'm trying to run a separate partition for OS9, the first boot volume on my Drive. this is a common set up as I understand. This means I also have a Classic 9 System Folder on my second partition, the one with OSX10.3.8. 10.3.9 is even worse.

NOW, I'm having the spinning wheel of death with my Mac apps like Mail AddressBook Safari. Some NonApple Apps will launch. I have been battling these problems with unusual Quits in Programs like Illustrator 10 photoshop CS Safari, Mail, for over 3 weeks now. I've pulled out RAM reformatted Drives (zero out), Permissions both with Boot CD etc. everything. I'm really at a loss here. I've been working with macs since the Apple IIe and System 10 is the biggest mess I've ever dealt with. I was more profitable in OS9. Well, i guess i could complain all day but I'm just wasting my words..
