Apple Studio Display 17 CRT?

My G5 died this week and Apple is replacing it with a Mac Pro. I have an Apple Studio Display CRT 17" monitor that works fine. is there an adapter to make this work on the Mac Pro or am I out of luck?

I would need a monitor with a DVI port right? in lieu of the 20" flat screen Apple display (which I may just bite the bullet and get), is there a good CRT monitor you guys can recommend that is cheaper than the flat screen Apple?

Or a good flat screen that is cheaper?

G5 Dual 2GHz, Mac OS X (10.4.9), 2GB ram

ADC to DVI can cost $99 or something. As for a good 20" there are a number of half way decent. Once I got use to 23" which seemed huge at first, after using 18" (which now looks way too small) there are some good reviews comparing different sized monitors.

HP 24" HP W2408 Vivid Color 24" Widescreen $440

Or 20" http://www.amazon.com/W2007-Widescreen-Flat-Panel-Monitor/dp/B000OK2X6K/ $244

My mac pro came with two video adapters. One was a VGA type which I used when I first got the mac pro. I used a 17" Sony CRT. So don't worry about needing to buy one. If you decide to get another flat screen, you could use the VGA adapter for your CRT and have a second display since the MP can support monitors on the same video card. I'd say bite the bullet and go for a 23" or bigger. I have the apple 23" and it's pretty good. Dell makes a 24" that's cheaper than apple, but it won't be as cool;)
